So, before I begin, let me just say that these are probably only about a third of the pictures of the day, the rest are on Liz's camera and are much muuuuuuuch better quality. So if/when she gets around to uploading them I might feature a couple in these posts, but until then...I need to keep going!
Yesterday, due to a last-minute babysitting cancellation, Liz, Justine, and I drove up to New Milford to check out The Elephant's Trunk, the largest flea market in Connecticut.
We found many treasures...
I tried on some nifty shoes
(in the background you can see the shoes I was wearing that day, which sadly broke later that afternoon)
We ate Italian Ices
And olive bread
My purchases were: a dress
earrings, a locket, and a faucet head (to be turned into a necklace?)
We wandered around the town on New Milford for a while, looking for a farm and then the perfect place to eat a sandwich. We also staged an impromtu photoshoot in the middle of a country road (Liz has all the pictures of this), where we came across a woman who was out for a walk. She gave us some helpful advice on why we should marry an army man (but not a navy man!) On a suggestion from another stranger, we drove 10 miles north, past farms and numerous biker gangs, until we found... (to be continued!)
